• Mono 1.2 – Q4 2004

  • Mostly contains components that weren’t stable enough for 1.0
  • Generic type support: C# Compiler, execution system and core class libraries
  • ASP.NET 2.0 improvements
  • Remoting improvements from Whidbey
  • System.XML: simpler improvements from Whidbey, lacking the large additions (like XQuery)
  • Console and serial port support
  • New compilers: VB.NET and JScript support
  • Web Services Extensions (WSE) 1 and 2 implementations
  • System.Windows.Forms officially debuts with .NET 1.0 API; 1.2 available as an unstable release

• Mono 1.4 – Q2 2005

  • Will mostly contain components missing or unstable from previous versions.
  • Updates to System.Xml
  • ASP.NET and Windows.Forms to match .NET 1.2 API
