Alice wants to pass through the small door

• Alice is big = 16KB big.
• The page cache works small - page-size small (normally 4KB pages on x86 machines).
• Alice cannot pass through the "door" to the page cache - so she needs to get smaller...
• ...and thus Alice is being cut into several Little Alices - 4KB each.
